CASAs continue to shine during COVID-19 providing quality care and support for their youth. CASAs are attending virtual court, having safe and socially distanced visits with their youth, and providing much needed resources. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Every child needs someone in their corner. For children and youth navigating their insecure home lives and the foster care system, that person can make all the difference in the world. Alameda County Court Appointed Special Advocates (ACCASA) recruits, trains, and supports dedicated volunteers to be the constant in a child’s life — a voice in court and a trusted mentor. A CASA is often the one person they can consistently count on for compassion, guidance, advocacy, and information as they seek the stability of family and the opportunity to secure a better future.
